Managing Innovative Teams

The conception and implementation of radically creative ideas, the building blocks of radical innovation, might be considered the sine qua non of corporate success. Organizations rely heavily on teams to generate radical innovation based on the assumption that teams posses more diverse information resources than individuals. Consequently, key issues for organizations are:
1. To have teams which maximize their creative output to accomplish radical innovation;
2. To use management practices which contribute to creative team performance.
This pillar of ICCL is committed to find ways to help companies with these key issues. We aim to do so by conducting fundamental research (for examples see research) and even more important through the use of hands on practical approaches (for examples see education and training). With this method we are successfully working with companies such as Unilever, DSM, and ROI, the Dutch Institute for Public Administration.
